Connecting Hoses
The connecting hoses of the hydraulics are not supplied with the attachment.
When selecting the connecting hoses, note the following:
Use only use hydraulic hoses that meet the hose specifications SAE 100R16 and DIN 20022 2SN.
Use hoses of sufficient length so that the movement of the earth-moving machine or the attachment does not pinch the hose.
Fit the hydraulic hoses with protective spirals.
Note
If you do not place protective caps on unused connectors, the connectors may be destroyed or their function may be impaired.
Remove the protective caps only for connection; if a connecting hose is removed, put the protective cap back on the connector.
When considering the service life of connecting hoses, note the following:
Hose lines are subject to natural ageing, which limits their service life.
The service life of a hose line including a possible storage period should not exceed 6 years.
When the hose line is made from bulk hose, the hose should not be older than 4 years. The storage period should not exceed 2 years.
