Foreseeable Misuse

In the event of foreseeable misuse, the warranty obligation of Resch-Ka-Tec GmbH expires. The operator then bears the sole responsibility.

A foreseeable misuse exists when:

  • the attachment is not operational or has been modified

  • the attachment is operated with defective or non-standard spare parts or connections

  • any work is performed on the attachment without approval and adequate protection

  • the attachment is used to transport or lift people

  • the attachment is used in potentially explosive atmospheres

  • the attachment is used in extreme temperatures (extreme heat or cold) (see Environmental Conditions)

  • the wear parts are not changed or the maintenance intervals are not observed (see Maintenance Schedule)

  • the load suspension points intended for transport of the attachment are used as load hooks

  • the attachment is used as a hammer or a striking tool

  • an unsuitable load handling equipment is used for the load hook
